The Minnesota Center for Nursing is a 501(c)(3) corporation organized to develop a strategic statewide plan for the nursing workforce in Minnesota, convene relevant workgroups to examine issues, make recommendations, and take action regarding factors affecting nursing preparation/education, recruitment and retention, and enhance and promote recognition, reward, and renewal activities for nurses in Minnesota. The Minnesota Center for Nursing is a member of The Forum of State Nursing Workforce Centers. The Forum is a group of nurse workforce organizations focusing on addressing nursing workforce issues in their states.
The Minnesota Center for Nursing is a diverse coalition that strengthens Minnesota’s nursing voice, role and capacity so that effective solutions are put in action.
Related to Voice: Disseminate relevant data to public policy decision-makers regarding nursing workforce in Minnesota
